The best way to clean the wheels is using only clear water with a soft brush every time the wheels started to show some brake dusts or dirt on the surface. Never use cleaning agent that contains caustic soda or abrasive product. Should detergent is needed to clean the heavily deposited dirt and brake dust, use only mild PH detergent recommended for cleaning cars but not household grade for cleaning dishes and flooring which can be too strong and will attack the paint and polished rim surface.
To preserve the mirror polished rim finishing, don¡¯t leave the wheels too long in a dirty or brake dusted condition. In case the polished surface started to etch from prolonged exposure to brake dust or pollutant, it can be restored by using metal polishing compound such as Autosol, Pennybrite or Braso to polish it back to the original condition. Avoid using hard wire brush or any sharp object to clean any part of the wheel.
